The Big Task
You will listen to our customers and provide them with the information needed to make a decision that is right for them, not us as a company. You will provide tailored system solutions and education on incentives and rebates to create a project unique to their situation. You will make their comfort our Focus!
Key Sub Tasks
- Establish rapport, showing care for the customer’s needs and wants, in order to provide a unique solution each and every time
- Represent the company in a professional appearance at all times
- Provide clear and consistent communication with customers and internal employees
- Familiarize self with pricing, incentives/rebates, financing, and option building
- Develop a high level of familiarity with our product line and equipment
- Create sales proposals that are accurate, complete, and clear
- Complete documentation accurately
- Self-generate canvassing/outbound calling/follow up
- Help set aggressive sales plans, propose expansions
- Partner with in-house and community advertising efforts
- Encourage pleased customers to spread the word about their amazing experience with Focus
- Address the client issues when required during a job, and once the job is complete if there were any corrections needed
- Maintain minimum performance metrics consistently
- Partner with Focus sales team and owner
Necessary Skills and Experience
- 2+ years consultative sales experience
- Comfortable working directly with consumers in their home
- Ability to use Company-furnished technology products
- General working knowledge or work processes (Ie. Clocking In, Excel, Word Processing)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to pass drug screen (including marijuana)
- Provide proof of employment in the U.S.
- Working knowledge of installing the fundamental components of an HVAC system
- Proficient in the code and its application as it applies to installs
- Frequently climb ladders and crawl in tight spaces
